Talk about a Chinese from Malaysia in Hollywood, Michelle Yeoh's name undoubtedly comes to mind. Michelle Yeoh has been a big name particularly in Asia since the 90s; the star having appeared in a string of Hong Kong hit movies. Lately, she created waves acting alongside Ke Huy Quan in the hit movie Everything Everywhere All at Once and has been named Time magazine's Icon Of The Year. Another actor from Malaysia in Hollywood may escape many but Ronny Xin Yi Chieng 錢信伊 most certainly has gained a foothold there. He has acted alongside Michelle Yeoh in both Crazy Rich Asian and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and being a talented comedian, he has been named one of 10 Comics to Watch.
