- Chopsticks are 7.6 inch long to represent the seven emotions and the six sensory pleasures. The seven emotions are happiness, anger, grief, joy, sorrow, fear and worry while the six sensory pleasures are the pleasure of sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch and thought.
- Chopsticks come in pairs, representing Ying and Yang which the Chinese believe are the balancing forces in the universe.
