Power Generation Glass


There wasn't a glass that could produce eletricity but there is now, thanks to Pan Jingong. Pan Jingong reportedly was a bright child and harboured dreams of becoming a scientist. He furthered his studies in America, specializing in high-efficiency and low-energy power generation technology. Later, despite being offered a million-dollar annual salary, he returned to China. He discovered a material with strong light energy absorption capabilities and minimal environmental impact, cadmium telluride which industry thought had no future. It took six years of hard work before he made power generation glass became a reality.
