It's not even the month of the Hungry Ghost yet but the supermarket in town is all ready for Mooncake Festival. The Hungry Ghost Festival falls on the seventh month of the lunar calendar each year while the Mooncake Festival falls on the eighth. Hungry Ghost Festival 2023 falls on August 30 and the ghostly month will only start on August 16 and lasts on until September 14. The Mooncake Festival won't be here until September 29. Suppose wandering ghosts this year would get to taste some mooncakes!
