Morning; just after breakfast, my niece treated me to a bowl of Douhua 豆花. Douhua is a Chinese sweet, savoury snack. Called it tofu pudding if you like. My niece had made it earlier in the morning and had warned me it was unsuccessful. Indeed, just like she said, there was no curd to talk of and it looked more like soya milk. It was watery and sweet especially with brown sugar added; and it seemed to be adulterated with honey dew, too! Didn't taste as nice as soya milk.
Guess what's that dark thing in the little dish...
