They bloom.
In the forests and mountains in the south of China, around the Yangtze River could be found the Chinese tree species Prunus mume, better known as Chinese plum. Plum blossom, the flower, known as meihua 梅花 in Chinese, is one of the most beloved flowers in China. It is frequently depicted in Chinese art and poetry and in Taiwan, it becomes the national flower. Being able to overcome adversity during the harsh winter, the flower is a symbol for resilience and perseverance.
