My grandnephew and his sister didn't drop by this sunday. Bet both would miss out on this special sandwich which has a luncheon meat wrapped with omelette in it and the char siu tart which ruptured upon biting and leaves crispy flakes sticking on the mouth. Char siu is a Cantonese-style barbequed pork, originating in Guangdong, South China. It is usually eaten with rice or noodles and is also used as a filling for dumplings. Versatile as it is, I'm not surprised that it is used as a filling for the homemade tart.
Can you guess what's in the sandwich and the tart?
