In the mid 80s, there was a Taiwanese drama in TV about a girl who runs away from home to avoid a marriage. The drama was probably a big hit if not the theme song itself. The song by Lin Shu Rong, 昨夜星辰 Last Night The Stars would blare out so loud from the neighbour's TV set every time the show was on but there was never a whimper of complaint. It was indeed a beautiful song!
