Farewell Tsang Kong!

HK actor Kenneth Tsang Kong 曾江 just passed away and was it a surprise! The 86-year-old actor was a picture of good health barely two weeks ago when he appeared in the local newspaper, patronising a restaurant in the little town of Baling in Malaysia. The proprietor was naturally excited to see the actor; after all he was quite well known in this part of the world, having a career spanning over 50 years and  appearing in over 100 movie or TV productions  including Hollywood hits such as Rush Hour 2 with Jacky Chan and a James Bond flick with Pierce Brosnan. Kenneth Tsang had an architecture degree from University of California but had decided to pursue a career in acting. Earlier in his career, he appeared in many Cantonese movies with then teen idols Connie Chan Poh Choo and Josephine Siao Fong Fong. I remember however seeing him first with his actress sister, Jeanette Lin Tsui in a black and white murder mystery Mandarin movie in TV. The last was in the 2021 TV series The Dragnet. Didn't know though he could sing.

Here's Tsang Kong; Seven Lonely Days...
