It's almost half a century since the famed martial artist Bruce Lee 李小龍 passed away but there seems to be a constant flow of news about him. Two weeks ago, I remember seeing an article about the original director of The Big Boss wanting to remove him from working in the hit movie; and later, there was a piece about him sustaining a back injury in 1970 that nearly ended his acting career. Bruce Lee's death reportedly was due to swelling of the brain caused by an allergic reaction to a headache medication. The circumstances leading to his early death at 32 years old was deemed mysterious; perhaps a reason for all this preoccupation of rehashing old news.
