Thought the 2021 movie Tiger Robbers 阳光劫匪 was just perfect to welcome the year of the tiger. Decided to watch it even though the reviews weren't too kind. There have been complaints ranging from the movie being too fast paced that it makes it hard to understand to a miscast of stars and the movie not doing justice to talented stars like Ma Li and Eric Tsang. Tiger Robbers features a very adorable and realistic looking tiger which was stolen by an eccentric professor, played very well by Eric Tsang. The owner has sought the help of the team from Yang Guang Pet Search to rescue the tiger. The English title Tiger Robbers then isn't really appropriate. Otherwise, there isn't anything wrong with this movie other than it is fun and entertaining.
