Watching You're My Destiny, the 2020 Chinese remake of the 2008 Taiwanese hit TV series, Fated to Love You 命中注定我你; I thought the actor who plays Zhong San Long looked familiar. The character of a pottery expert who is an old flame of the male lead's grandmother doesn't exist in the original or in the South Korean , Japanese or Thai remakes; but the face is familiar because there has been a short video featuring the 80 something charismatic man who most certainly lives life to the fullest. When a friend watched the video, he had commented 同名 不同命; which translated into same name but diiferent life. My friend happens to share the actor's first name De Shun; but the actor Wang De Shun 王德順, nearly three decades older, leads a more fascinating life than us normal guys. Just watch!
