Wee Meng Chee, a Malaysian Chinese hip hop recording artist, composer, filmmaker and actor, better known as Namewee courted trouble the moment he burst into the entertainment scene with his song Negarakuku. A remake of the national anthem of Malaysia, the song drew uncalled attention from the authorities as it contains a word that could be interpreted as obscene.
