Pow! And such big ones too! A friend gave a relative five Chinese steamed buns and he gave us three. Chinese steamed buns are commonly called pow. Usually they are as big as an adult's fist but a tua pow, that is a big steamed bun; can be twice as big; but rarely is it that big that it fills an entire football-size tray and had to be cut into pieces to be shared among family members. The pow reminded of an even bigger pow which was a hot item decades back called 叶子楣 Yè Zǐmèi or Amy Yip Big Pow. Then; Amy Yip, a Hong Kong sex symbol with large bosom was the rage. The pow on the kitchen table this morning by the way was the second of the three pows. There probably would be the third one tomorrow!
