Lion Dance Past

I remember last Chinese New Year's lion dance. Lion dance 舞狮,  a dance mimicking a lion's movements is so common in a Chinese society that one is bound to take it for granted; that is until a pandemic strikes perhaps. The Covid-19 pandemic which has been wreaking havoc over a year now has rendered lion troupes nation wide to be inactive. As all stay home, I reminisce of lion dances past and take joy in viewing video clips of lion dances being performed...
