Sharing China


The Imago Mundi, most commonly known as the Babylonian Map of the World in the British Museum in London is considered the oldest surviving world map. Old maps can be expensive; their values depending on their uniqueness, desirability, rarity, age, map size, cartographer among other things. Someone posted in Facebook a map purportedly published by New York New Times in 1900. The map supposedly shows the proposed plan to divide China. The country is sliced into several territories to be shared among other countries from the West which includes Great Britain, Germany and France. Wonder how much this map is worth...
