Introducing Khao Yai: A Chinese Temple in Khao Yai

After a lunch of pineapple fried rice, there wasn't really much we could do. Our taxi had left us and there was no way we could move around other than walking out to the main road to explore the vicinity. There seemed to be other interesting lodging houses around the area, near the main road with beautiful gardens and lo, there was even a Chinese temple dedicated to Guan Gong, a general who served the warlord Liu Bei in the late Eastern Han Dynasty of China more than two thousands of years ago. It wasn't a very grand temple and we didn't enter the temple to look around as there were ferocious looking dogs there.  I suppose there are Chinese residents somewhere in this very quiet place, Khao Yai.
