Chinese New Year 2020 falls on Saturday, January 25th and that's a little more than a week away. Cookies had been made and house cleaned. Now, just take time to listen to some Chinese New Year songs. The Chinese New Year songs which are played and played each year are not exactly new. The evergreens are pleasant to the ears but boy, was I surprised to find that the songs even date back to the 30s and had been performed by such notable artistes as Chou Xuan, Jeanette Lin Tsui, Yen Chun and Lin Dai.
