Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams

I don't know if there is an Asian TV program; more specifically a Chinese TV program, featuring the lifestyles of the rich and famous similar to the the American TV series hosted by Robin Leach (pic) In the 80s and 90s which featured the extravagant and glamorous lifestyles of wealthy entertainers, athletes and business moguls. There shouldn't be a lack of subjects, I'm sure. Consider Taiwan's Taipei alone, the city has 1,519 people with at least $30 million in assets; thereby placing it eight in a global list of cities ranked by the number of ultra-high-net-worth individuals. The rich in Taiwan reportedly started to make their pot of gold in the 1970s when they got involved in the manufacturing sector, churning out televisions, Barbie dolls and later, electronic components and goods. The rich in Taiwan, however, reportedly are not showy; that is, they live modestly, valuing the traditional Chinese virtue of humility. Many never fly business class. On second thoughts, maybe they may not be interesting subjects for a TV show afterall. No champagne wishes and caviar dreams !
