Wang Lee Hom

Four time Golden Melody Award-winning American singer-songwriter and actor , Wang Lee Hom, achieved highly recognized success in Taian, Mainland China, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Thailand andthe rest of Southeast Asia. He introduced "chinked-out" music, a genre heavily influenced by traditional Chinese music. Although he did not begin learning Chinese until he was 18, Wang is now fluent in Chinese in both speaking and writing and has written many Chinese lyrics for his songs. He plays over 10 musical instruments and these include piano, drums, guitar, bass, violin, vibraphone, erhu and zun. While in Kuala Lumpur to promte his 12th album, Gai Bian Zhi Zi (Change Me), Wang Lee Hom had said that he wanted to spread the message of conserving the environment especially to youngsters through his latest album.

Wang Lee-Hom Wang had attended Jefferson Road Elementary School, Pittsford Middle School, then later Pittsford Sutherland High School in the town of Pittsford, USA and as a youngster, had been known youngster, to be a well rounded person. He graduated from Sutherland High School with a perfect 1600 SAT score and after graduation, he studied at William College and graduated there with honors majoring in Music and Asian Studies. That was really admirable.
