Li Ning was China’s legendary gymnast who captured three golds, two silvers and a bronze in the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. In an athletic career that spanned 19 years, he garnered 106 medals and two years after retirement, he had in 1990, started a sporting-goods business named after himself.
