I have just finished looking at the DVD of "Love is a many splendored thing". I read the book many years ago and loved it. I have visited Hong Kong and China many times and think it is a wonderful country. I have had Chinese Students live with me while they have been studying here in Australia. My Father was a great lover of all things Chinese and when he passed away his collection of books, magazines etc. were dedicated to the Latrobe University, here in Melbourne, Australia. Oh what a beautiful story "A splendoured Thing" was and is - Muriel Nichol, Melton, Victoria, Australia),

Nice to meet you, Muriel. I would like to see 'Love is a many splendored thing' as the best of the East and West. Both have their good and bad aspects. Let's embrace the good and eradicate the bad.
